Service Description

This 4 week course is just what you need to get you ready for your big day! You and your partner will learn the anatomy and physiology of birth, tools to help you stay positive, when to go to the hospital/birth center/call the midwife, what to do if your water breaks, what to pack, pain medication options and c-sections, hands on comfort measures, what to expect in the immediate postpartum and how to set yourselves up for success in new parenthood. We are the only birth class in San Diego County that is taught by a husband and wife team! Our curriculum was created specifically for couples. Mom is the one carrying and birthing the baby, but partners have a very active and important role too. Not only will you and your partner learn the basics of birth, but you will leave with an understanding of the difference in the roles that each of you has in labor, birth and postpartum!

Cancellation Policy

Any class cancellations less than 10 days in advance of class start date will result in a forfeit of payment/credits. There are no refunds/pro rated amounts given for classes missed if baby is born before the series ends as we cannot refill that spot. Thank you for understanding.
