Service Description

This live, in person 6 week series of classes is taught by a couple and designed to educate, encourage and empower couples to have the best birth possible! The first four weeks cover the anatomy and physiology of labor and birth, common fears and how to work through them, birth planning, how to know when to go to the hospital/birth center or call the midwife, hands on comfort measures for labor, what to expect in the immediate postpartum and how to set yourselves up for success in new parenthood. Weeks five and six cover all the newborn and breastfeeding basics so that you feel confident caring for baby.
